Bo Jones begins his first season coaching the TRGR 9U team. He brings more than 20 years of head coaching experience on the high school level to TRFR, involving both boys and girls. Jones has spent 12 years as a head coach on the AAU circuit. Jones earned 165 wins as the girls head coach at Huguenot High School, where he led the team to four State Tournament appearances and two Regional Championships. He was named Conference Coach of the Year twice.
Jones has coached two McDonald's All-American nominees: Taya Robinson (VCU) and Daisha Brown (Longwood). He is  a graduate of Huguenot High School and Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Criminal Justice.

Roy Halliburton brings eight years of coaching experience to the TRGR 16U team. He also doubles as an assistant coach at The Collegiate School. Halliburton has served at several schools in the area, including spending time at Clover Hill, Meadowbrook and James River high schools. Roy played for Team Richmond before attending North Carolina A&T.

Lionel Bacon is originally from Louisville, KY, where he attended and played basketball at the famed Ballard High School.  Lionel was a standout performer for the Ballard Bruins and received a full athletic scholarship to attend and play basketball at Virginia Commonwealth University from 1986-1990.  Lionel graduated from VCU in four years, as a 3 year starter, while serving as team captain for the Rams in both his junior and senior seasons. Over Lionel’s 4 years as a VCU guard he totaled 941 points, 268 rebounds, 215 assist, 212 steals and 86 3-pointers made. Click for full bio.

17U Elite Head Coach Del Harris has been involved in the Richmond basketball circuit since he was a AAU -All American at age 12 in 1992. He later on went on to be a All-State and All-Region player at Fork Union Military Academy. He has been the face of Team Richmond AAU for a decade and on the sidelines at a number of prominent colleges and universities such as Assistant at University of Richmond, Virginia Military Institute (VMI), Morgan State University and Head Coach at Vassar College. He has coached and helped to develop dozens of players who played with Team Richmond AAU and went on to successful college careers. Some continue to enjoy professional basketball careers. Last season, Harris' team finished with a 23-10 record and finished in the Top-15 at the 2015 AAU Nationals in Louisville, KY, and in the Top 25 AAU Power Rankings.  At the Nationals, the team went undefeated in pool play and advanced to the medal rounds and Sweet 16. Harris heads the Del Harris Basketball Academy focusing on fundamental skill development and community outreach. He also is the host of the “Del Harris Show” on Fox Sports Radio 1340 AM covering high school basketball in the Greater Richmond area.



14U Head Coach Kerry Williams is a native of New Jersey who moved to Richmond in 1996. He attended Hermitage High school and earned two letters before continuing his playing career at Division III Southern Virginia University.  Williams has more than a decade of coaching experience, starting his career at Hopkins Elementary School in the Chesterfield Recreation League.  In 2009, he became an assistant junior varsity boys basketball coach at Meadowbrook High School, helping lead the team to a perfect 20-0 season. In the 2014-15 season Williams became the head junior varsity boys coach and served as an assistant with the varsity. Williams has four previous seasons coaching AAU basketball, where he has secured several tournament championships as well as two state runner-up trophies ion the 14U and 16U age group. In the 2015-16 season, his 16U team advanced to the AAU Sweet 16 Nationals in Orlando, Fl.

11U Head Coach Shane Burnette is a 1997 graduate of L.C. Bird High School.  While at Bird, Burnette was the Team MVP in 1996 and 1997 on a team that included 2 future NCAA Division 1 players, 2 future NCAA Division 3 players, and 1 future NCAA Division 2 player. He was also all district, all district academic, and a team captain for 2 seasons. Burnette’s class at Bird reestablished the Skyhawks as a regional contender by finishing 2nd in the District and beating the #2 team in the state, the Hopewell Blue devils in the regional tournament.  Burnette was enshrined in the L.C. 17U Choice Head Coach Andrew Lacey also serves as Varina High School's head boys basketball coach. He has led the Blue Devils to Conference Championships (2014-2015 and 2015-16), three straight regional tournament appearances, and a VHSL State Tournament appearance in his first four seasons. Coach Lacey was named 2015 Conference 2 Coach of the Year. He has amassed more than 130 career wins in a very short 12-year coaching career. He played college basketball at Bridgewater College where he was a four-year letter winner. In addition to coaching, Lacey is a USA Youth Basketball Development Certified Coach, Professional Clinic Speaker and Fast Model Sports Basketball Writer.
